Practical knowledge

Google Ads for moving companies: a campaign plan

A moving company’s Google Ads campaign should generate jobs matching its routes, work scope and team availability. Start with enquiries the company can fulfil to the benefit of both customer and business.

Divide the offer by need

Home moves, office relocations and single furniture deliveries have different values and requirements. They need not use identical advertisements and pages. Record the minimum job scope, coverage and services not offered.

A consistent landing page

After clicking, customers should find the advertised service, coverage, pricing rules and contact. A form can ask about route, date, floor and approximate load. It should not imply automatic availability confirmation where a conversation is necessary.

What should queries be checked for?

  • Interest in the right type of move.
  • Job searches, guides or services outside the offer.
  • Locations and routes the company can serve.
  • Single-item transport versus a complete service.

Select exclusions using data and actual scope. An overly broad rule can remove valuable searches too.

Measure contact quality

Distinguish phone clicks from answered conversations and submitted forms from qualified enquiries. Record rejection reasons: unavailable dates, uncovered routes or unsuitable work. Without that information, form cost can hide a quality problem.

Budget and testing

Do not set spending by click counts alone. Consider job value, handling capacity and the time needed to collect data. Agree the test duration, contact owner and results that justify scope changes before launch.

Can job numbers be guaranteed?

No. Advertising depends on the market, offer, dates and post-contact sales. Measurement and decisions based on it can be defined.
